Taxstra was started by Bryan Martin in 2022 to assist Individuals and Small Businesses by efficiently minimizing their tax burdens.  Bryan formerly served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Illinois Department of Insurance.  Previously, he also served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Director of Systems Administration for the Illinois Office of the Comptroller, and also as a Senior Budget Analyst for the Illinois Governor's Office of Management and Budget.  Bryan currently resides in Springfield, Illinois with his wife Anne, and his daughters Charlotte and Daphne.
